Berlin - 2002

We had a trip to Berlin in 2002. It was my first trip to the country that was once known as Eastern Germany - well except passthrough trips in the 1970.. The city blossomed with optimism and new buildings popped up everywhere. The cranes towered the city like gigantic birds.

I think that Oslo probably is one of the architectually ugliest cities in the world. Well, the money was pouring in from the oil - and it seemed like they just built without ever thinking about the overall plan. Its like a face that has many nice details, they are just not well porportioned or put together. However, the details were nice, and one of them is this shoppingcenter roof in the center of Oslo.

White Winter 2004

A few shots from my trip to Montenegro in the winter 2004. It was a tough trip - had to leave the car in the city after 2-3 unsuccessfull tries to get up the mountain. At the end I had to walk up at night, and it took me several hours. I arrived wet and tired - but luckily my old aunt had lit up the fireplace, and I could warm myself up with a couple of sljivovitz. ;)

The next day I went out and found the landscape like a postcard.
